Sax Player :: Jazz saxophonists

Well, you can’t work all the time!!

Apart of being a Web Consultant, I'm also a sax player, particulary, I love Jazz. I have a Jazz Group: Blue Magic Jazz. I play tenor sax and am our Manager,

I started to play Saxophone in 1998 when studying in a Jazz School in Tours (Jazz A Tours in France). I started with an alto sax that was really not good...at all!

I completed my Jazz Studies (do you ever complete Jazz Studies??!) at a Jazz School in Toulouse (South of France) and at the same time I was studying piano at the Conservatoire Of Toulouse finishing my Classics study.

In 2001 I was playing with the jazz group Bantou Jazz. I’ve played in differents bands as leader or sideman, in duos, trios, Jazz Big Band, Cuba Bandas and for various events including Jazz Festivals, Jazz Clubs, many Pubs, Weddings and for corporate events....

In 2000, I finally bought a magnificent Selmer Tenor Saxophone and in 2006 extended the collection to a soprano sax.

The great thing with the sax is that you can take it everywhere. I consider this instrument as my best friend and an amazing passport when I travel!

I love Dexter Gordon, S Rollins, C Lloyd, Steve Lacy, Kenny Garrett, Charlie Parker, Joshua Redman and many other fabulous musician who share their love of music and life.
